Hi, I’m changing the draw and door fronts on a kitchen I’m not familiar with, does anyone recognise this mechanism, I can’t work out how to remove the door front.
TIA.

Not seen that particular fixing before, but a similar type you turn the screw (circled) 1/4 to 1/2 turn anti clockwise and the dowel which attacghes to the drawer front releases and the drawer front should just gently pull off. (I'm assuming that you meant drawer and not door in your post)

It is either that or the front Philips screw that looks like it retains a hook that could be the drawer front mount.

Thanks for your reply, the small chrome screw adjusts the drawer front up and down, I’ve had a go at the black plastic one and screw which doesn’t seem to do anything, I’ll have a closer look, I just didn’t want to start poking about too much and breaking it!wine~o wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:46 pm Not seen that particular fixing before, but a similar type you turn the screw (circled) 1/4 to 1/2 turn anti clockwise and the dowel which attacghes to the drawer front releases and the drawer front should just gently pull off. the circled one is for side to side adjustment. the silver as stated is for up and down movement. id either try moving that hooked lever to see what happens there. or.... is there a hole internally on the drawers? howdens do one type of upgrade drawers which have a control screw for something internally at the back of the drawer.
this doesnt look like that type but maybe there will be something in there.
the most common method of release for this type of drawer front is a cross shaped piece of metal that a ph2 driver fits into. obviously in this instance it isnt there.
