new premier league season

well starting this one a week late since it started last weekend...

however i am rather more confident for newcastle uniteds prospects than i have been in previous seasons (seasons before last season that should be  )

manchester city up next away and liverpool at home after that. lost both of those last season... so anything other than that is a bonus

Played poorly Fin.

My son was at the game. His first ever away game. Shame it wasn't the result he wanted.

My son's just started up here as a trainee civil engineer. It's good that he has a good employer and they let him work from home (WFH) a lot. He was at the AC Milan game a couple of weeks ago. He WFH last Wednesday so saw the Man City game then WFH Thursday and Friday and saw the Burnley game Saturday. The trains are on strike Wednesday so he's going down to Durham tomorrow after work and WFH Wednesday, Thursday Friday. So he'll see the PSG game and whoeveryou're playing at the weekend. There's only a bus service back to Edinburgh on Sunday so I'm going to collect him from Durham.
