Kitchen wall is off by 40mm. What should I do?

I'm having my walls skimmed next week. I've noticed at one of the corners the wall isn't square with the rest of the room. There used to be a small utility room and coal cellar there back in the day but it was knocked down years ago to make the kitchen bigger.

I have two options. Have the plasterer build out the wall in the corner or pack out the cabinet cleats on that corner when installing the kitchen. I think option 2 is the best bet as you wouldn't see the 40mm gap anyway when the cabinets are installed.

Opinions appreciated.

40mm is a lot of plaster, I vote option 2, too.

Yeah, it's actually 25mm once I actually measured it. Still a lot though. I'll see what Fin says.
