perspex acrylic sheet buying ?
mysteriously the glass shower screen shattered in my bathroom at 6am would you believe, i was thinking instead of buying a whole new shower screen, why not put in a sheet of perspex acrylic in, there are lots of firms selling online ie cut to size etc, anyone recommend a company that has decent cheap prices, would need delivery.

I needed some perspex for a "project" (It's sitting next to me now) when you order online I found that the seller expects to "ship" it to you, so no worries there, it came well wrapped and even had "paper" stuck on it to stop it getting scratched, but the thicker it is, the more it costs. Mine came from ebay, but you might want to try google.
The seller was the first one I found that sold it in the shape I wanted (Round)

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

thanks for reply, the ones iv seen on ebay seem to be for pucture frame cuts the size i need it bigger then there max, its one of them hinged glass shower door panel, not as big as a door by far, sits on the bathtub edge against a wall, i could buy a new one for £60, im just thinking a plastic sheet where the glass was would be just as good and cheaper
if its say £20 quid all in id go for that, or jusst put up a shower curtain as i still have the rail where i had on before the glass panel, to lazy to remove it..

I some how don't think you will get a sheet of perspex for £20, mine was about £10 and smaller than a dinner plate. (It is exactly what I wanted) Get a shower curtain £4 - £10 ebay.

There are a few suppliers for what you need, this one for example https://www.quayplastics.co.uk/ There might be a branch near you.

I just checked a site and a 10mm thick perspex sheet in shower screeen dimensions which came out at £286. Best pop in to Screwfix for a new screen
