DW DCD776 Drill-Bushes

Post by TheBear »

I have a DeWalt dcd776, a fault developed today, when the switch is squeezed, the light comes on but goes out immediately without the chuck turning.
Could this be the brushes or possibly the switch?
I purchased the drill in 2018 so not under warranty.
Help!! I need my drill.

:withstupid: Also, if the light goes out the battery is flat, try another battery.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
