I'm currently fitting my kitchen. There's a deviation of around 40mm in the level of the floor so I've had to take that into account when setting the datum line and taking into consideration the gap in the plinth at the lowest point. The datum line at the lowest point is 890mm. The problem is there needs to be a support panel there but that only comes in at 870mm. It looks like I'll need to use a clad on panel instead which comes in at 900mm high which I'll need to trim.
Is the clad-on panel and support panel basically the same thing only the clad-on panel is bigger?

Differences between clad on panel and support panel
Clad on panel is normally just decorative, support panel is just that a panel that adds support to the units.

But apart from size they look exactly the same. I'm just going to use the decorative panel but so the curve is at the back.

Differences between clad on panel and support panel
normally i fit howdens kitchens. think their base end panels are 910mm tall
obviously the wall ends from howdens are sized so the pelmet runs into them.
be aware of different door thicknesses. caught me out on the last kitchen i fitted. i normally cut a bit of scrap the thickness of the door plus 2mm to use as a gauge for where the front of hte panel will go so its flush with the door when its fitted.
i also normally cut the panel down to 720 if its going on the middle of a run of cabinets so the plinths run straight through
