Hello all and thanks for any help.
I've installed a new shower enclosure which is in a U shaped tiled area. The shower base sits on top of a wooden platform and stands about 100 mm above the floor surface for pipe access. The shower base fits within the U shape enclosure but because the walls are not square a have a 5-8 mm gap between the base and the tiled wall but only on one wall. I therefore need to seal this somehow before then using standard shower sealant to finish it off. What would you advice i use to pour down this gap?
I had thought waterproof cement and then finish that had with bathroom sealant but the water may still get between the cement and the tile should the sealant give way for any reason.
any advice would be much welcomed.

Shower Enclosure fitting
I would silicone on some UPVC qudrant or strip to cover it. I did this for a friend who had a shower wall to tray leak and that lasted years until it was all refurbed. Something like this https://www.trulypvc.com/window-door-pa ... -bead-2.5m
