Hello I'm new!

Post by John C »

Hi I'm new, and have just purchased a DeWalt DCF900.

I'm from the UK and like to do my own car repairs if possible, unfortunately it's becoming harder and harder to find mechanics who will do a proper job, even if you find someone who's charging middling to high rates they still want to cut corners. I think there's just too much work, less youngsters want a career working on cars.

I like to do anything I can get my teeth into lying on my back, and one of the worst things is struggling to undo suspension bolts etc. So I initially bought a DCF899 but the moment I got it out of the case the switch started to work intermittently. They took it back and refunded my money, and for very little extra I choose to replace it with a DCf900.

There's a couple of things I want to discuss, just to make sure it's operating correctly etc.

Cheers!
