I was planning on ordering my kitchen units one day from DIY-Kitchens but it looks like all their kitchen units have doors that are recessed into the frame. I did a quick google search and it looks like most kitchen units are done this way. Does anyone make units that have doors on top of the frame hiding the edges of the cabinet frame?

looking at the site - most of the doors - are not recessed but ontop of the cabinet - can you post a link to the recessed doors
most of the kitchens i have been involved with or looked at , have doors ontop of the frame - so not sure what you maybe googling and seeing

I think you might be right. They have a live image playing on their home page and the first and third kitchens have inlayed doors. Both are styles I was looking to choose. That made me think they are inlayed. But looking at some more images I saw some overlayed doors too.

yep, if you goto the base units - you can see all the door designs, and inframe is an option, most have overlay doors in the designs
so you may find the style in the overlay doors if that is what you want
i clicked on units and then choose the drawline and then doors - and had quite a choice of doors styles
or inframe units and styles here

if you dont want inframe there is a huge choice on the site -
