I’ve looked online and also rung a few places about having a vanity unit delivered.
The response has been that items will only be delivered to the ground floor.
Is this pretty much the way things are?
I live in a first floor flat and could really do with having it taken upstairs.
I may not be able to have someone else around to help me take it upstairs when it arrives and I don’t want the vanity unit left in a communal area.

Moved to general DIY as not a plumbing question.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Most companies employ just delivery people, not installation people. They are not insured incase of damage, or injury. I see it as you have 4 choices
1)That you and a friend will have to be there on the day it arrives.
2) You make your own
3)Have a custom made / installed one
4) Get some of These CLICK ME
