jon123, welcome to the forum, moderator2 forgot to tell you why you shouldn't dig up old threads, the reason is people will either join, post and go, or join, post occasionally and not come back for a few years, neither is of use to you.
All I can offer is "water is the enemy of timber" so if you are having a wooden building, make sure it has gutters, a decent roof, and drainage. I had a wooden shed, I looked after it "painted it" every few years, changed the roof felt as and when, it started to rot in a corner, (supporting) I had it demolished and a block building with tiled roof built,13 years later, it looks almost as good as the day it was built. My point being if you want it to last, get it made from blocks and and a decent roof, it is cheaper in the long run.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.
