Hi

What are the best ways to feed new cable into a conduit while pulling old one out?

TIA

Not sure what you are asking, as you have answered your own question, you pull the old cable out, as the new one goes in. (You are aware you attach the new one to the old one?)

Can I use insulation tape to attach new and old cables? Any thing better to use to attach them together? it's just to make sure will work first time

You can, but in an ideal world you strip each of the cables (a few inches) you then twist the old one into an "eye" (as in hook and eye) you then pass the new (stripped) cable through the eye, making another eye (so the two are interlinked) you then tape from the old cable to the new cable in a spiral.
If you are pulling in more than one cable, you should arrange them so they are staggered, and if its really tough, and some washing up liquid to the outside of the new cable.

You can also get a cable sock, but the above costs £0

I thought it was conduit but looked few mins ago, think it buried in skim plaster so have to chase the wall, isn't it or is there another way.
