I know I'll need the circular cutter too.

Has anyone got experience of them?

Are they good?

Any suggestions where to buy, other than eBay.

I've seen the Armeg Sets are they are a lot more expensive, I'll not be cutting holes every day.

I have the Armeg set and it is not brilliant to be honest.

Firstly you need a drill with rotor stop on for the chisseling part.

The cutter makes an enourmous amount of dust and the square cutter attachment will not work in hard brick and so you have to use a chisel in any case.

When trying to use the square cutter the amount of vibration caused is significant and so if you are working on an old house you could push the brick/s right through the wall, cracking the plaster at the other side ( on single brick internal walls)

My advice would be to get a good quality 8mm/10mm drill bit and use depth stop on your sds drill and pepper pot where the boxes need sinking and then get a good quality chisel for your sds drill ( as long as it has rotor stop) and then remove the centre with this.

The box sinkers are supposed to be ok for some materials, but for me it is much easier with a sds drill bit and chisel.

I agree with handyman on this one, i have the set and it does create a lot of vibration, but in your case on block it will be a dream to use and will save you loads of time and effort, wil go niceley with your ryobi drill.
