Stupid Question about Summerhouse roof - sorry

Hi All,

Second time posting here (edit - looks like I've posted many times before but had forgotten!) as last time was so helpful. Please forgive me for asking a stupid question. My Darling Dad would have helped me if he hadn't gone blind (he can't understand what I'm describing). We were gifted a summerhouse, we were going to attempt to put it back together ourselves. We woke up and got a professional to do it. He did a great job. We now need to felt the roof. He basically used the existing roof then put insulation and a vapour barrier on and then a gap and then exterior osb to make the roof. Now at the front, it is all open and you can see the insulation and the gap (see photo - we covered it with a tarp until we can felt it). This is where the stupid question comes in. Do we felt over that gap? Meaning, do we pull the felt over that and secure it under the overhang? Or does it need some kind of board over it? I'm really sorry if that sounds daft but I really don't know.

You want to create a drip edge to assist water run off. Tucking the felt under and fixing would do this and then the fascia under could be covered by a board to close off the exposed front under the roof edge. This board would allow you to fit some guttering leading to a water butt if you were minded. The back edge of the gutter would be under your drip edge. Although the leaves above could be a pain in Autumn clogging the guttering. On felting the roof think about the prevailing wind direction in your area as a decider for verticle or horizontal laying.
