Hi I’ve been advised by an independent damp surveyor that I need to extend my downpipe so that water is directed away from the base of the wall and through a hole in the front garden wall. Can someone advise what specific materials/parts I need to buy and where from. And where ai can get instructions on how to do this. Ive been quoted £250+ for the works so ideally trying to do it DIY if possible. Any help is massively appreciated!

If anyone tells you, you will never learn, so look at it this way.

You will need to add to what you have, and it is too short, so you will need more pipe.
The pipe is rigid so you will need a bend
As it is rigid you will need a to cut it with.

You could go to a big DIY store and get it all, or just go there and look at it to see what you need, then order it on line.
Most favour screwfix or tool station

Thanks my uncertainty is what type of bend I need to get. I see there is a 92.5 degree round offset from screwfix. Could i remove the downpipe shoe that is currently there, replace it with the 92.5 degree round offset then insert a straight downpipe directly into the offset? If you are able to include hyperlinks to what I need from screwfix website that would be massively appreciated to make sure I get the right things for the job.

I would suggest you measure the diameter of the pipe first to be sure. (You are there, I am not) Then order what you require.
