Afternoon everyone....
So I've had a Keter folding workbench for a number of years, it been an invaluable tool in my shed, being
used for a variety of jobs ......recently I broke one of the Clamps and to my dismay this morning the other
snapped....Having trawled the interweb I am unable to find any replacements or alternatives... :dunno: .I therefore
throw myself at the feet of the forum experts for help.....any ideas will be more than welcome......
Cheers all.....Jennoe.

That was my first thought.......but it seems that these clamps are specific to this particular workbench as the lock in place an act as a vice...... :cb

i dont see how unless you have an exact shaft size hole restricting the size you can use as it is no more than a head under table pulling down to top like any ever made clamp
"vice " simply means tight to very tight grip"vice like grip"

I've obviously confused you somewhat......the clamps slide into a rebate in the bench top and lock into place....

It is probably cheaper to buy a workmate on eBay or a simple clamp-type cheapo bench to work in parallel with your Keter https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Tilt+Fo ... m/p/149065

I recently found one of these benches second hand and I managed to break one of the clamps before I even got to use it on the bench... shame... Given that there are no replacements for just the clamps, I am thinking about trying to remodel the broken part in CAD to make a 3d printable one.

I second this. I love my workmate. I got a vintage one from the 70s and replaced the garbage particle board that was splitting and swelling with pressure treated pine. There are many videos of people doing this online. There are also a lot of plans people have made for custom accessories for the workmate. I made a router table that fits onto it so I can use it with my cheap cordless router.

Just saying, Jennoe177 joined 7 August, posted then and the next day, didn't get the answer he wanted, popped in the day after (still not got the answer he wanted) and has never been seen since. Happens a lot in forums.

I want to keep it going though because I have not seen anywhere else with people talking about this issue. I have no idea why they do not sell the clamps individually.

No money in it.
