Need a new key

Post by Argyll »

My son broke his key for his 2016 VW Polo (see photo)

I thought about trying a repair with sugru but don't think it'll be strong enough.

I think it's best to get a replacement key. Rather than pay a small fortune from the dealership I thought about trying someone online. Has anyone had any experience of this?

Need a new key

Just wondering...............how will an online place make a key for a car they do not have?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

:idea1: Click Here for a video how to add/change pictures

Apparently they can cut the key from a photograph.

Looks like a really poor design, barely any shank on the key to secure it.
