A number of things I guess but one thing I do every morning comes from my science teacher back then. When I get up the first thing I do is make a cup of tea or coffee. I always empty the kettle and put fresh water in the first boil of the day. This is because my teacher said that you should always do that because if you continually reboil the residual water at the bottom over time heavy metals in the water can gradually accumulate and poison you. Well, I am still here. Strange how another thing stuck with me although I have never needed it was this 'Johnny, feeling life a bore, Drank some H2SO4. Johnny's father, an MD, Gave him CaCO3. Now he's neutralized, it's true, But now he's full of CO2' I do not think I have come across Sulphuric acid to try this.
Does anyone else have a school-taught thing they still use today?

It’s strange that you should mention this because I’ve always done this since I was an adult, it just feels the right thing to do.dewaltdisney wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 7:45 am A number of things I guess but one thing I do every morning comes from my science teacher back then.
