I've used some uncured flashing tape to seal a downpipe going through a rubber roof. This has failed as it had a lot of water leaking down the face of the downpipe. I have now fixed that issue.
Presumably, I now need to remove and replace this tape? Can you please provide some advice on how this is done as it is stuck firmly to the pipe and rubber roof using the tape and primer.

Is it bitumin based flashing tape? If so WD40 is a great solvent for that.
