Greenstar CDi Compact Boiler - Installer Access Panel

God give me strength! How do you remove the installer access panel for the electrical connections on the CDi Compact? The three screws on the underside are out and the front flap has been removed from the bottom of it, but nothing is moving, or looking remotely like moving - have manged to break one of the control panel hinges up to now..... it doesn't help that the bottom of the boiler is only about 125mm from the loft floor, so even getting the screws out was a mission.....
