fuses

Depends what you will be connecting it to.
If you are adding a plug, put a 3Amp fuse in the plug.
If you are adding it to the lighting circuit/changing an existing light, it should already have a 6Amp mcb
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

:idea1: Click Here for a video how to add/change pictures

fuses

230 watt = 1 amp, so standard BS 1362 fuses come in 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 13 amp and the preferred sizes are 3 and 13, so 3 amp would normally be used, but even a 1 amp would be ample.
