black ash mortar repair
a small portion of my downstari living room wall has crumbled, i removed the parts that were crumbling away,, and i can see it's black mortar behind the plaster that gave way, i only have a small part to fill, about the size of a tea cup plate, what can i use to fill in that gap, i was thinking pva first, then run of the mill multi filler after the pva has dried..
