Dewalt D27300 Planer Thicknesser Spindle Replacement
Hi, I have a D27300 Planer & thicknesser. The spindle and the handle that adjusted the thickness have sheared off at the point where the pin is located in the the spindle, I can imagine that is because that is a week point. I have purchased a replacement spindle and would like advice on how to remove the old spindle and fit the new one. (some images attached). Thanks, Terry

I think that you will have to take the side off to expose the shaft so you can then figure out how to replace it. Work logically, take photos as you go, and keep nuts and screws in marked bags, do not trust memory.
