Repositioning isolation switches in the loft

I have two shower vent fans in the loft together with the isolation switches. However, the electrician screwed them down to some floorboards. I’m planning on renewing all of the insulation in the loft and as there isn’t any underneath this small section of floorboards, I’d like to reposition the insulation switches. The cables go directly into the back of them. Will I need different switches to mount them near the fans instead?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Repositioning them may mean longer cables are required

Just push insulation under this board
