I have a job to do, and I will be using a lot of heat shrink sleeving. From time to time I do use the odd bit, for which I use a lighter to heat it. But as I said there is a bit more to do this time, so I was looking for a "heat gun" and as I have DeWalt tools, I figured on a DeWalt heat gun. I instantly thought "Screwfix" Yes they have it £90 then I thought "Amazon" yes they have the same one £84.28 Click here That's £5 less and it will be delivered to my door. Then I thought, what about "Ryobi" they are reasonable (and cheap) £96

I always figured Amazon were more expensive, obviously not. Oh, FYI all tools mentioned are "bare"

I thought that battery ones would run out too quickly with a heating elemen?? Could you run an extension from part of the circuit left live

i always swear by ryobi in the past buuuttt
they have upped there game and there price soooooo
do not buy ryobi unless with around 40% off
the only uk sources are ryobi direct run by cbs powertools peterbourough
or ryobi tools uk so a closed market
