Hello everyone,

I have attached two pictures of my window. The problem with it is that I cannot fully close/lock the handle (to the left to horizontal position).
Any idea how to fix this ?

Thanks

If the window is closing fully then it is probably a defective handle. Cheap to replace lots of how to videos on YouTube

It turned out the circled part (see in the picture below) doesn't turn enough to fully lock the window (see attachment).
What can I do with it ?

The lock mechanism needs to be changed probably. Have a look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6h5Y85NjWY it could be fiddly if it is upstairs. You can get a UPVC window repair guy into do it if you feel it is too difficult, look on Yell for local firms to you.

Well there's your problem its not square and it looks like its cracked/split

you will need to remove the mech (espagnolette) from the window and see if it has any maker's marks on it and measure it

It turned out that it is not like in the YT video above. Do I have to replace the whole window or can I just disassemble the mechanism from the window ? Any hint please ?
(I cannot afford any window repair guy atm)

Look for a different video on YouTube. Seriously, YT is a wealth of information, you just need to find the right one for you.

The Saracen locks are a bit different see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgQ5GFktzdc I think to remove the lock the two end tabs have to be pushed towards the middle to release the lock (after the handle spindle is removed) I think this is it https://gbdiystore.com/era-saracen-shoo ... gK0aPD_BwE Check the backset measurement before ordering a new one. Yours will be the 11.5 length bolt.

ah its that type that uses 2 locking rods, lock the window open and the rods just twist out, unlock and remove the handle, the lock should pull out

Oh yes, I missed the two rods at the window edges in the picture. That is the one.
