Hi, the bottom corners of my velux windows do this every year. Is there a simple fix or do i need to get a window specialist in to have a look.
Thanks

Damp around velux windows
Post by dewaltdisney »
It looks like it is either letting a little bit of moisture through or it is condensation. Probably condensation as it would be a cold spot there. Clean back with dilute bleach solution to kill the mold spores and paint over when dry.

Damp around velux windows
they shouldnt leak. if it happens every year id be asking someone who actually knows velux windows to have a look. the instructions are pretty specific and also the flashing kits also are pretty specific. if the pitch is too low for example some flashing kits are unsuitable.
