Boiler pressure

Post by dewaltdisney »

It usually relates to the expansion vessel. In most boilers, it is a rubber bladder type with a car tyre-type valve. Over time the expansion vessel can take on water and this can lead to a pressure drop. Another cause is a drip from the pressure release valve that can let by in certain circumstances. Lastly, it could be a small leak that is so slow it is not evident. Start with pumping the expansion vessel and see how you go.
