wall lights

Post by g.mcmullen »

just moved into new house wall lights already fitted but new ones ready to go up, this is where i get confused.
description 4 lights run on two switches
switch 1 light 1, wires 1 x live, neutral, earth (no problem)
switch 1 light 2, wires 2 x live, neutral (seem to be joined) earth x 3
quite happy with that . assume that all in parrellel

switch 2 light 1, wires 2 x live (seem to joined) 1 x neutral2 x earth
switch 2 light 2 wires 1 x live. 2 x joined (seem to be joined) 2 x earth

have no major problems as long as read it all right, just leave wires as appear to be or am I getting confused on normal lighting circuit,
:?
always willing to give it a go. cheers gaz

Just replace the wiring, like for like into your new fittings and you cant go wrong, too many diyers, worry about how things are wired and take them apart and then forget how they went back together again. If it aint broke dont mess with it .
