Boring Barstads

This morning I set out to level and straighten the ceiling joists above my bathroom. But, as I had a close look at the carp brickwork between the joist ends on the outside wall, I noticed that the demon borers had been at work in one 3 x 2. So that's another new piece to buy and install, as if getting the crapenters duff work sorted wasn't bad enough. It was OK before but with the walls tiled up to the ceiling, the rollercoaster effect would have been obvious. Ah well, my back has had enough for one day. Then I had to do the Sunday dinner as well.
