Any one know where I can get some ideas/plans to build a large shed which is going to be about 20''15'. Preferably free plans.

Thanks in advance.

I have some I knocked up on the computer but they are in the Sketchup format. It is of my shed/workshop which is 24' x 13' with a front veranda. (Looks like a summer house/log cabin type of thing but in shiplap. If this is any help I can e-mail it to you. HTH.

That would be great mate thanks. I'll pm you my email address.

Edit; How do I send a private message to someone? most forums I'm on you just click on their name and it gives you the selection to send a pm.

under every post you should see the Image icon - click that in a reply that was posted by the person you want to PM
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You need 5 posts minimum before you can pm anyone, this is to stop spammers from signing up and spamming the genuine members

mailee,

Can you convert them to pdf ????

PDFCreator is a free program that will convert most documents.

Just an idea.

I managed to send the plans by making JPEG's of each section which should help. Here is a picture of the finished item.

That looks like the shed I want to build next year :thumbright:

I was going to visit shed displays and take pic's then draw my own.

I often 'borrow' ideas like that.

You could host it on some site like ******** but I don't know if you would know how to do it.

Thanks Argyll, I have just sent the plans by ********, you should have an e-mail to retrieve it. All the best. Let me know if it works as it is the first time I have used this method, thanks.

Thanks for that mate. Now I'll just have to master google so I can have a good look around it.

Very much appreciated.

Shed from reclaimed materials

Post by trumpetmonkey »

Talking of sheds, if anyone's interested, I built a small shed/summerhouse out of almost entirely reclaimed materials in my parents' back garden a few years. It was kind of an experiment, see what I could do with reclaimed materials (so i was raiding skips basically I'm afraid).

Looked pretty good in the end and saved a lot of money! I have pics of all the stages of construction, would like to share them but can someone explain to me how I post images on the forum?[/img]
