Might be worth a look. They have started advertising on talksport, so had a look and it appears OK.
Just incase your looking for something, its another site to look at.
First thing I noticed was all the prices exlude vat, which always pisses me off.

Ive never used the tool side of things, but the ParkerSteel side of it seems to be fairly sensible.
Have some decent offers from time to time by the look of it aswell.

They should have the option to show prices with or without VAT, many websites do this now and it would make it better for non vat registered customers.

it is a deliberate ploy to make the prices look cheaper and no other reason
The regs state that if a website is aimed at Retail customers, prices displayed must include VAT, which will be why places such as Screwfix, B&Q, Axminster etc always have VAT inclusive prices available as they target the domestic user as well as having trade customers.

Parkers is more aimed at trade users though rather than DIY, mostly the engineering industry.
If you browse through the stock list it will become apparent ;)
Things like specialist welding electrodes, pipe fittings, stock bolts to M24...
