building a log store

hi, thinking of building a log store for seasoning logs. anybody any ideas on how to go about it, as regards frame size, what to clad the roof/sides with. is the frame made from 2x4 etc..many thanks

Hmm . not sure about that
I knocked up a store using left over close-boarded fence panels, pallets, etc.
There is a picture in the show gallery that I posted mostly for a joke

I saw one locally that looked like your log store, can't be that bad!

The top needs to be waterproof, and the sides semi weatherproof to allow air to get to the timber.
One would normally divide into three sections, New timber, one year old timber and for use this winter timber.
Sawn and split wood can be stored undercover ready to transfer to the fire storage area.
If you have a dutch barn down the garden, perfect.
