Safe search on Yahoo?
I've just been looking for long johns on Yahoo and have "safe search" on. I'm getting a picture of a gay cowboy that is definitely not safe, how do I get the Safe search that bit safer? Not sure what else i can click as I thought it was pretty well filtered.
Failure means you just didn't get it right yet!

assuming this is for the kids, you will need to use a child-friendly search engine, not a standard search engine with filters.
the filters on standard ones rely on website owners flagging the sites with appropriate ratings and not all (I would guess very few) bother
The child-friendly engines vet the results they show - so you will get a lot less results but should all be "decent"
Here you go .... Search Engines for Kids and Families

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

i just dids a quick test - went into a couple of those engines and searched for "sex" to see what came up ....
Yahoolihgans had nothing - so is for very young children.
http://www.surfsafely.com/ had some results that were tuned to older children and looks far more realistic in its working.
If the engine has NO results for a search that has some legitimacy for a 10+ year old, then they may well try a standard one instead
