Hi folks,
When it comes to tiling on concrete bathroom floors is it best practise to tile and then sit the toilet on the top of them or fit the toilet first and then tile around the base?

I would tile the floor then fit the toilet on top, I have done this to my two bathrooms. Any water leaks will then pool on top of the tiles.

I was thinking this would be the best way but then I was also thinking that drilling pilot holes for the toilet base screws might be harder as you are having to drill through tile and then concrete. But I suppose if i get myself a new tile drill bit it should be ok

Hi,
Allways best to tile your floor before fitting the toilet, pedastel ect, alot less hassle, no awkward cutting out to do, gives a tidier finish.
