We place great trust in our GP's.

To-be graduate doctors were asked, by the BBC, to name a famous doctor in history.

Most replied with the name Harold Shipman :wtf:

Exasperated they were then asked to name their second most famous doctor in history, most responded with the name of some doctor in a TV medical soap program. :wtf: :wtf:

Totally exasperated they were then asked to name their third most famous doctor in history most named Hippocrates.

Third time lucky. Frightening aint it and worth thinking about next time your GP gives you 'advice'.

What's the ability to name a famous doctor got to do with his ability to stick his finger up your bum when you complain of certain male problems?

And how about naming a famous electrician equivalent to Hippocrates?

I was told that doctors are failed Consultants.

And that comment was from my niece, she is a GP so should know!!

Maybe it does take great intelligence to shove your finger up someones bum.
