Leak from above PVC window
I have recently noticed a leak after heavy rain which appears at the head and side of my window (see pictures). I suspect that there could be a problem with the PVC damp proofing that goes between the cavities above the window but don’t want to do anything drastic like removing the frame or chipping the plaster off the heads until I get some more advice. The house has been built for 22 years and we have had no penetrative damp problems before. There was however always lime scale that built up on the outside of the window running down from the top. The window is on a gable wall with no windows above it. There is brick on the bottom ¼ and the top section is dashed. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
