what i disagree with is the beeb using our money to bid against a commercial company..........just shouldn't be allowed
and i prefere the opening music on itv

, but not the adverts

What are you on....just 'cos the beeb gets its money in the form of a tax why shouldn't they be able to bid otherwise the beeb wouldn't get any sport at all apart from the guaranteed events.
At the end of the day the GP coverage next year will be exactly the same, with the same commentators but without the adverts

ITV outbid BBC for the exact same. Murray went across, as well as Blundel (or is it Brundel

)
I heard that Bernie wanted the change 'cos of the adverts. I really hate the Sony advert

I don't think they can....isn't GP one of the 'listed' sports that have to stay on mainstream TV

Looks like not even the one race in the UK is protected.

just look at the list of sports .....
"Domestic Test match cricket is not on the list of protected events"
Wish they would stop talking about it on the radio as well all the time (and ANY Cricket for that matter)
