Grout consistency

Post by Mooncat »

I am using a waterproof grout made up with powder and water. As per their instructions, it comes out like dried up plasticine. I'm using a grouting float, the grout looks OK when it's in and finished, but it's laborious to do. Does grout really have to be so stodgy?
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.
