Calzaghe versus Jones

Post by ultimatehandyman »

I'd love to have seen this fight, but just been searching youtube and it is not on, but there are loads of videos claiming to be the fight and when you click on them or on the links it shows a pile of crap and nothing to do with the fight :angryfire:

Youtube should employ some people to check quality and delete crap like this :cussing:

I'm glad Calzaghe won the fight, especially as I have a signed Montage of him that cost me £500  If he had lost it might only be worth £50 come to think of it the picture might only be worth £50 anyway

I recorded it last night and watched it this morning. When it had finished I went back to normal TV only to find Setanta were showing it again so I didn't need to record it. Unfortunately, I've since deleted the record

Its replayed again on Monday 11:30am or 12:00 on Setanta 2 and 1 respectively :thumbright:

I know how you feel having missed it UHM.

It still irks me that I missed the Cassius Clay v Sonny Liston fight in 1964.

he can't view Xvid Foggy, he is missing codecs ::b i tried before.

i actually never looked at this thread before because i had it recorded and didn't want to know the result. imho, a great fight that should have been stopped way before the end. Jones's cut could have been threatening to his eye let alone the danger it put him in from fighting with one eye's vision. i have always supported Joe C but you got to take your hat off to Roy for that performance. i wouldn't have liked to judge it if he had got his full vision.

yes Roy knocked Joe down in round 1 but it looked clearly to be an accidental forearm.
