Fire Door Handles

Hi I have seen a few topics on firedoor ironmongery, hinges closers latches are mentioned but not the handles. any info on firedoor handles?

Hi Frontman,

Handles are BS rated the same as the rest of the ironmongery. It depends on your local authority and their policies. Its best to go to, or phone your local planning office for guidelines and then go to a specialist Ironmongery firm.

I use CHS Ironmongery. They supply fire rated handles. Their prices are a bit steep, so I mainly use them for commercial clients.
