Effin sink!!!! (major rant inside)

It was SUPPOSED to be delivered today!! I just called the Fuc$ing delivery company because surprise sur-Fuc$ing-prise they never phoned me yesterday to give me a time slot and they tell me that the deliveries have failed because of snow! Would you Fuc$ing believe it?! We've been waiting for this Fuc$ing bathroom to be installed since it was delivered a month ago and i originally ordered a replacement for the cracked sink two Fuc$ing weeks ago!! The girl on the phone was pathetic and gave the stock response of "I'm sorry, someone was supposed to phone you and let you know" which is the same thing they told me LAST time they cancelled their Fuc$ing delivery. Fuc$ing arseholes!!! This is the very last time i order anything from them. They can't get anything right! I know sh*t happens and you can't help the weather but for f*ck sake, how long would i have been sat here waiting before they phoned me to let me know it wasn't coming! c**t.

APPARENTLY i may get a delivery tomorrow, weather permitting and APPARENTLY someone will call this afternoon to confirm a time slot. We shall see.

I just want this to be over! The plumber is getting arseyer and arseyer because he claims he can't book any more jobs in while he's waiting for my sink - erm, no mate, that's b*llocks. You can do the sink whenever - it's only a Fuc$ing sink.

My nursery is full of all the sh*t that used to be in the bathroom as well as coated with a layer of tile dust. I need to get in there and paint the wall to hide the plumbers f*ck up with the shower and get it sorted in 3 weeks, but i'll only have 2 weeks left at this rate before Christmas AND i've got to finish my shopping and get the rest of the house shipshape before then too. ARGH!!!!!

We started this in PLENTY of time before the baby was due. Why am I paying for other people's f*ck ups?! Why does this always happen to us?! Every Fuc$ing time we start something like this we get shat on and it ends up taking far more time and money than we ever planned?!

/rant.

Sorry.

It does you good to have a rant. Hope it gets sorted in time for the baby's arrival. That is more important than a poxy sink.

Like Dewaltdisney said it's good to let off some steam. I hope that your nursery is finished in time.

When I worked in customer service (many moons ago before Delhi call centres even existed) we all took pride in our job and would follow things through from the start to the finish. We would bend over backwards to assist in a complaint. Then we were bought out by a bigger company and the job became about how many calls you could answer per hour. People would deliberatly hang up on a customer to get their calls stats up. People dont have the same pride in their jobs these days. I would put something in writing and let them know how annoyed you are and that you are about to reveal their company name on a MAJOR DIY website unless you get an apology. Most people think there is no point in complaining but if I was opening that letter I would make sure something was done. :-P

Thanks Angie,

I've done CS too, so i know how manic it can be at times and i know they will have all been under pressure because of the MFI situation - i've been told that the MFI contract was 25% of their business!

The sink finally arrives so now all i have to do is get refunded for it from MFI wish me luck!!

Is that when you worked for Remploy?

I broke up a Remploy desk recently that I had acquired over the years 'to do something with', never did, and wanted the room in my workshop. I was surprised how well it was made even though it did look very utilitarian and I took my chainsaw to it in the end
