You get that a lot in Tesco's and no doubt other as well.

The special offers per unit is mostly more than the normal price.

Tesco's 100% juice is buy 3 for £4, which saved you 5p, they have now put up the single price.

Eggs in my local Tesco are 20p cheaper for 6 than 10 in the MSN branch.

2 x 500 Utterly butterly is cheaper than 1000 pots.

its more the maths i was querying or the legitamacy off 2x£146 =£2.92 so are they allowed to charge a greater price for bulk!!!

They are allowed to advertise that but when you get to the till you should check that you have been charged properly (ie. 2 x the single price). If not, you are entitled to have the error corrected.
