Hi Gypsum,
The two finishes i use are firstly, using the trim that you would use around a window reveal, using a mitre block for the 45 degree cuts, sometimes these can look a bit bulky, depending on the size of trim your using( which is determined by the tile thickness), or alternatively mixing some grout and laying it on top of the tiles using a scraper or grout float to get a nice smooth angle and finish, let it start to go off, then with a wet finger lightly rub over the surface to smooth it off. If your sealing the worktop to the tile, hope you left a 2-3mm gap, choose colour of sealer, apply the sealer, a nice tidy bead, spray with water mixed with a small amount of fairy liquid in it , then with a little rubber or plastic tool that can be bought at BandQ, Wickes ect spray that and drag over the silicone leaving a very smooth even finish. Hope this helps
