Hi Gadget,

Welcome to the forum, glad to see you have started off with a great post in the jokes section.

It scared the crap out of me to be honest, got up one morning at 4:30 am and clicked on the link, just what I needed at that time of morning!

Hi

I'm from the Mid-Pennines (you know, the lumpy bit in between Manchester and Leeds) and I make furniture - which doesn't mean to say that I don't do a bit of joinery, 2nd fix, kitchen installation, anything else I can in wood etc. I, too, am white van man, although mine is an LDV 3.5tonne Luton with tail-lift. Probably the slowest van I've ever had, but it doesn't half make life easy for my back! Don't carve me up in your Land Cruiser because (a) I'm bigger than you (b) I'm heavier than you and (c) my brakes aren't as good  Specialty product? - anything you can machine on a CNC router or produce in a vacuum press (curved panels anyone?)...... The DIY bit is 'coz I do most of my own stuff at home.
