Cleaning Teak Garden Furniture

Post by Miranda »

Can anyone advise the best way of cleaning teak wooden garden furniture which has a green algae on the surface. Is there a special cleaner that anyone can recommend.

Hello and :welcome: Miranda

A jet washer will do the trick, then once its dry you can oil it with a decking treatment that has a mould inhibitor in it, cant think of a specific product name right now but im sure some else will have one on their mind! :thumbright:
IF IT WERE EASY ITD B BORING!

Couldnt have said it better myself

A power washer will work wonders on slimy looking timber

Teak is a naturally oily timber anyway so drying times of timber after jet blasting should not be too long
:-P

Steve.
