What shower curtail rail

I need to buy a shower curtain rail, are the telescopic rails ok? I was going to get a chrome plated rail but a friend said they start to rust after a time
I fitted wto from Argos for a landlord last week and they were quite well designed Cat Ref 831/5371.
The old telescopic rails were sprung but the ones I fitted have a screw thread which allows you to hand tighten them.
