How versatile is a tile cutter?

Have recently purchased the PlasPlugs Contractor Plus tile cutter, I had about 15 wall tiles to replace with cutting around sockets & 6 floor tiles also to cut & replace around radiator, and the Contractor Plus coped very well ( I am purely a diyer), my question is this, it came with the 150mm diamond wheel cutter, for other diy ventures could it be used as a circular saw or stone cutter ( if I purchased different wheels), otherwise until myself or a friend needs some tiling, it will sit redundant in work shed.

In my opinion it can only to be used for tiling and it will be something that is dug out when you, or others need it. I never lend tools.

may i suggest you look around for alternative blades that should tell you what the manufacturer thinks!!
i suspect the answer will be tiles only
appart from the fact a tile saw will work at far higher speeds than a wood saw
a wood table saw is around 1500w so assuming your tile saw is around 500w it would only have the power with an appropriate wood cutting blade to cut sheet material which needs a reasonable sizes table to accomodate the size
wood needs a dry cut as water would cause movement and swelling on the wood
dosnt look hopfull does it
