That is exactly what the bone idle shytes in Parliament want Steve - THEY want US to flog our guts out to keep THEM in the comfort that they have become accustomed to. :cussing:

I also like they way THEY vote about THEIR pay increases. Should be WE vote about THEIR pay increases - the end results would be how it should be - THEY pay US to 'work' in Parliament. As I believe it used to be, MP's were not paid a salary at all it was an honour to be an MP, well it used to be.

Too bloody true Fred
trouble is all this crap thats going on is bad for my health ,i need to chill a bit ,but everyday you put the news on there is more greed coming from either the Bankers (is that spelt right, should be a W !! ) or the MP`s screwing us for more money one way or another

The cost to the Treasury of MPs' pensions has risen from £9.8m in 2003 to £12m last year. Over that period, MPs themselves were asked to contribute only an extra £700,000. ::b

why bother ?

Our pension increased recently to make up the shortfall etc ,and it went up to cover the WHOLE lot not just a bit of it
