I have floor tiles in my conservatory which also doubles as our kitchen. Over he past week or so we have noticed a discolouring of the grout. It looks like a white/yellow mould but is only present in the area of the conservatory that was extended beyond the original house footings.
I am wondering if this is a sign of damp that has got through the damp-proofing laid when the extension was built about 6 years ago?
I have not treated the grout with bleach etc and was seeking some advise before I call in a proffesional for help.
many thanks to anyone who can give me advise on this subject

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum.
You could do with a hand held damp meter really to test the grout as this would give you an indication as to how damp it actually is.

You can get them at most of the DIY retailers or hardware shops.
